Conversely, if a conventional capacitive screen is used, large areas of surface water can trigger capacitive induction drift or touch IC crashes. To balance a modern flat visual experience with operational stability in harsh environments, the client chose to ship the prototype enclosure to our facility for a targeted touchscreen technology upgrade.
