Case Details:
Recently, a client entrusted our company with the custom development of a master control touch panel for their control terminal. This equipment utilizes a standard 15.6-inch medium-to-large aspect ratio (16:9) and requires reserved interfaces for physical functional components in specific areas of the front glass cover lens. To address the demands for lightweight assembly, irregular multi-hole processing indexes, and high-transmittance visuals under complex lighting environments, our technical team engineered this black custom capacitive touchscreen panel. This was achieved through a 1.1mm thick glass cover lens, four side-by-side holes carved within the black bezel zone, a surface AR anti-reflection process, and a highly integrated COB structure design, aiming to solve the assembly pain points of smart terminals regarding multi-button integration and space optimization.
Project Background:
This scheme features four circular holes carved side-by-side beneath the black non-display border area. According to client feedback, modern medium-to-large industrial terminals present data on a mainstream 15.6-inch 16:9 screen while typically requiring multiple hardware sets—such as physical indicator lights, infrared temperature sensors, or biometric cameras—integrated at the panel edges. Furthermore, this terminal frequently operates in complex indoor and outdoor environments with highly variable lighting. Standard mirror-finish glass causes reflective glare and ghosting, which impairs the visibility of key UI menus inside the 15.6-inch high-definition viewport. To achieve seamless nesting for multiple components while optimizing optical performance, the client chose to cooperate with our company for process development.
Key Solutions:

Overall Impact:
This 15.6-inch custom black touchscreen panel solution complies with the technical indexes of smart terminal equipment regarding weather resistance and structural design. Our technical team completed mass production and delivery within a reasonable lead time. By combining a 1.1mm thin shatterproof design, multi-hole CNC carving, and the AR enhancement process, this solution mitigates the adverse effects of light reflection on visibility, demonstrating our custom manufacturing capabilities in standard medium-to-large-sized non-standard capacitive touch panels like the 15.6-inch specification.
Conclusion:
The successful delivery of this 15.6-inch multi-hole black capacitive touchscreen panel highlights our customized technical chain in medium-to-large-sized shaped precision carving and optical surface engineering sectors. From 4-hole CNC cutting and 1.1mm cover glass physical tempering to the application of surface anti-reflective coating, we completed a full-process, closed-loop delivery. In the future, we will continue to deeply cultivate capacitive touchscreen product lines for smart industrial controls and medical display all-in-one machines across core sizes, providing smart manufacturing enterprises with rigidly stable touch panel technical support.
